...college for a while.

About three months actually! I had my last final yesterday morning and am now officially halfway through my undergraduate career. I have quite a drive to get home, about 6 hours (especially with the road construction) so I typically have lots of time to think, talk on the phone (Don't worry, I usually use my blue tooth), and jam out. And boy, do I jam out! But yesterday my ghost of a blogging partner called me to keep me entertained for a while. We ended up playing some interesting games of "Kill, shag, marry". For those of you not familiar with the game, you name three people that everyone in the game knows, and the other people have to pick one to marry, one to shag, and one to kill. Some are easier than others. Some games you don't want to kill anyone, but the best ones are the ones where you want to kill everyone. Here are some that Kayt and I did yesterday:
-Brody Jenner, Franky Delgado, and Justin Bobby (all from The Hills)
-Tim Gunn (Project Runway), Spencer Pratt (The Hills), and Kanye West
-David Hasslehoff, Hulk Hogan, and Sylvester Stallone
-Tom Brady, Tony Romo, Tony Parker
-Tom Brady, David Beckham, Joe Mauer (I don't think its hard to figure out which one I would choose to marry!)

We are always open to hearing more combinations! And we are interested in what you guys would choose, so let us know in the comments! P.S. You don't need a blogging account to leave a comment!

dorms soon!

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

I started cleaning and packing my room yesterday and cannot wait to finally move out of the dorms for good! My suitemate helped me take my loft down (thanks girl!) and I now have an amazing extra-long king sized bed. I don't know what to do with all the extra bed space! Anyway I realized I have a lot of crap in my room! And its not as fun to clean it out when you don't have one of you best friends helping you and bringing up stories about the things you find stashed away.

If you didn't know - Oprah is giving away a free KFC meal. If you want you can print off the coupon at www.oprah.com/kfc but you have to print it off by tomorrow (5/6/09).

I don't know what else to blog about but I'm trying my darndest to keep it updated. Comments give motivation ;)

I'll leave you with this: Be kind to everyone you meet, you never know what kind of battle they are fighting.

Swine Flu!

Sorry about the long delay between posts. I've been super busy lately. Here's whats been going down lately...
-Swine flu. Please don't get it, and if you do, don't give it to me, I have a compromised immune system.
-JOE MAUER IS BACK TONIGHT! YAY! So I'm being awesome and watching baseball on a Friday night. I don't even care. I LOVE JOE! And Kevin Slowey is pitching tonight so all the much better!
- Tomorrow is the Big Event. For those of you who don't know, the Big Event is our university's way of giving back to the community. You sign up in groups and each group gets assigned tasks like cleaning churches, parks, people's homes, etc, etc. I am in an athletic training group - which has been put at the same sight as two other athletic teams (football and baseball) because they thought we would know them and have more fun this way. Yeah, it will be fun, especially since I'm with the football team right now BUT, I see these guys everyday already. Oh well, it should be interesting!
-Thursday is PARTY BUS! This year's theme is Disney characters. I will be Mrs. Incredible.
-Only four days of classes, and then finals! This year has gone so fast! I'm halfway through with my undergraduate already.
-Alex and I are looking for apartments (we are willing to take donations...)
-I have a few summer jobs. Growing up sucks, I don't want to pay for rent!
-Downy Winkle Releaser is the BEST THING EVER! I use it every day
-I bought grape Kool-Aid packets. Not as great as I remembered as a child.
-I have played more "name game", "alphabet game", "I spy", "Shag, kill, marry", and "initial game" in the past few days in the training room then I care to remember. You know its a problem when the athletes can walk in and immediately know what you are playing and join in.

Thats all for now. Time for TWINS BASEBALL! GO JOE and KEVIN!
